We are an amplified voice for residents concerns
“Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable” – William Pollard
Small actions BIG difference.
“We can begin by doing small things at the local level, like planting community gardens or looking out for our neighbours. That is how change takes place in living systems, not from above but from within, from many local actions occurring simultaneously.”
— Grace Lee Boggs
The CCRA believe in the importance of a strong community. Since June 16 we have been encouraging community cohesion organically through workshops and event led initiatives that have been positive in breaking down barriers and bringing residents closer. Our demographic in Concorde close is rich and diverse with multi faith / ethnicities, the CCRA celebrate this and ensure we offer inclusion in all workshops and events that are organised.

The CCRA is now working with the housing association Home Group to improve communications and improvements to Concorde close. The past grievences that residents have had for many years with Home Group are now being channeled in commitee & residents meetings in order to ensure that the views of residents are being carefully considered to improve residents living environment.
The key areas that are on the top of the CCRA’s agenda are; community safety, maintenance & repair, prospective regeneration plans.
